Hi there! Thank you for wanting to learn about my journey. I was rescued by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (I.F.A.W.) I have a lot of energy and love to run and fetch. You might recognize me, actually. I don't mean to brag, but my excitement to play with my Christmas gift from my dad, a ball launcher, landed me on the news! I am from a remote community where I played with my friends. I think I was more than my humans could handle. They gave up on me.
That picture to the left? That's the day I was rescued. Jan Hannah of the I.F.A.W. Northern Dog Project saw something special in me and decided to take a chance on me. That day my life changed furever.
The I.F.A.W. turned me over to TEAM Dog Rescue in Toronto to find me a foster home until they could find me a furever home. Turned out that I wasn't an easy dog to find a home for. Things weren't looking great.
The rescue found me a foster family who had another dog. They had an idea of what I needed to adjust. They took care of me, loved me and knew how much exercise I needed to keep me happy. I love them too.
One day they told me they were going to adopt me and that I could stay. I was so excited. I had finally found a furever family. Join me on my big bold fabulous journey called life. I'm a very happy boy and want to do everything I can to make sure that as many dogs as possible have the same chance in life that I have.
