It's Getting Cold Outside
November 1st, 2016
I’ve been told that it’s getting too cool to go swimming in the lake. Although dock diving and swimming are two of my favourite things, I have a lot of work to do over the next few months so I’ll be out working on my own mission. The mission of course is to make a difference for other rescue pets who deserve to have the same life I have.
The T.E.A.M. Dog Rescue 2017 calendar is coming out soon. I hope you’re all getting at least one. The calendars are $20.00 and $5.00 for shipping and all the proceeds will go to T.E.A.M. Dog Rescue. This year’s calendar is pretty special. We teamed up with stars from the Canadian Country Music Awards (C.C.M.A.) and had Jen from Gotcha Photo Studio take all of our pictures. Jen is really good at what she does and the best part is I got a ball as a present after the shoot. Can life get any better than that?
This past week we were invited to ET Canada to join my picture partner Dean Brody. Dean just launched his new album Beautiful Freakshow and then we talked about the T.E.A.M. Dog Rescue calendar. Actually Dean talked and I was his back up. What a team!!! It made me happy to see people who are famous taking time from their busy schedules to do something great for rescue pets. We’re going in the right direction.
I know my mom and dad knew what they were getting into when they invited me to their home, my forever home. I’m sure I was a challenge for them and I never heard them complain (too much) but it made me wonder. I wonder about how people make a decision to adopt a dog. So I have a couple of questions that I have to ask you and your comments will be very important in what I do next.
Please share your thoughts in the comment section.
Ready??? This is a question for adoptive parents.
Knowing what you know now, what advise would you give to someone who’s thinking about adopting a pet? Did you have surprises? Can you share them?
What did you do to find the right pet? Did you get it right?
